About The Position

This position incorporates enterprise, operating unit, and regional guidance and direction into affiliate security program(s) to result in security services that are aligned, coherent, and operated in accordance with system standards. Provides leadership, direction and supervision to subordinate shift leads and frontline teams. Ensures effective synchronization of staffing, technology, and processes, to safeguard people, property, assets, and interests.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Solid expertise in formal/structured security risk assessment methodology.
  • Ability to mitigate risk by synchronizing the efforts and capabilities of people, process, and technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of building security staffing models.
  • In-depth knowledge of developing post/patrol strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of effectively applying security technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of coherently blending all program elements with tailored processes to effectively manage risk within a clinical environment.
  • Broad working knowledge of health care operations and their related security requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of current and emerging physical security trends, risks, threats, countermeasures, vulnerabilities, and mitigations.
  • Working knowledge to establish and deliver on key performance indicators.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to give presentations.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into business and clinician relatable language.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under stress in emergencies.
  • Flexibility to handle simultaneous high pressure demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems/applications and grasp fundamentals/concepts of systems.
  • Superior ability to interact with all stakeholders.
  • Superior ability to build relationships at all levels across all business units and organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate enterprise, operating unit, and regional guidance and direction into affiliate security program(s).
  • Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to subordinate shift leads and frontline teams.
  • Ensure effective synchronization of staffing, technology, and processes.
  • Safeguard people, property, assets, and interests.
  • Develop and deliver on key performance indicators that ensure high availability and integrity of security devices and equipment.
  • Direct the collection of relevant data, mature the data into information and knowledge, and make fully rationalized recommendations.
  • Identify risks of action, risks of inaction, and resource requirements.
  • Accurately express projected returns on investment and follow-through post-delivery to measure ROI throughout program execution/steady state.
