About The Position

The Resort at Papakea is seeking a Security Supervisor to manage security teams, oversee the emergency safety program, and ensure building safety and security measures are followed. This role involves maintaining relationships with local law enforcement and alarm services, and administering all security processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanor, be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Excellent verbal skills
Proven ability as a team leader and possess excellent people skills
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and other computer programs
Have a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanor
Be detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year College or university
Two or more years related local guest service experience

Responsibilities

Direct management of security teams including hiring, performance management, training and scheduling
Is aware of events, both current and future
Responsible for the emergency safety program for the property, team members and residents.
Ensures proper building safety and security measures are always followed
Maintains a close working relationship with the local police and alarm monitoring services
Administers all security processes and procedures
