About The Position

The Security Supervisor will supervise, plan and schedule security activities for the Security Officers as directed by management. The role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and company assets within the casino and hotel areas. This position requires adherence to all New Jersey regulatory requirements and casino-specific environmental factors.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
One-year experience in a supervisory position required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
Proficient at investigating incidents and report writing.
Basic arithmetic skills required which include adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying.
Computer related experience required.
Must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
The ability to effectively communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

Three years’ experience in casino security or law enforcement field.

Responsibilities

Supervise the operations of the Security Department on an assigned shift and area.
Assign work to assigned Security Officers and establish priorities.
Respond to all non-routine incidents in a supervisory capacity ensuring appropriate action is taken and notifications are made.
Supervise and evaluate Security reports for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all incidents are thoroughly investigated and appropriate action is taken and proper notifications are made.
Responsible for training Security personnel on shift.
Conduct follow-up investigations on reports as directed.
Act in relation to employees, customers and/or the general public in a manner consistent with the best interests of the organization.
Assure that Casino Control Commission regulations and requirements are met and followed by all Security personnel.
Determine and recommend changes to improve Security operations.
Complete incident reports detailing incidents that occur on property.
Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements.
