About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a commissioned, full-time armed security officer for a site in Houston, Texas. The position involves monitoring security systems and premises, identifying and responding to suspicious activity and potential threats, documenting incidents, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the hourly wage is $18.50. The employer provides a uniform at no cost and offers career growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Hold a Level 3 Armed Security License.
• Provide own equipment: weapon, duty belt, two pairs of cuffs, and two non-lethal items.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to climb stairs and walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
• Have computer and social skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Be willing and able to work at odd hours and under pressure.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive, strong problem-solving skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities
