Security Specialist - Full Time
About The Position
Security Specialists work under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor to ensure that SIS standards and policies are met in field services, operations, and functions in their assigned area. Duties may include site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and assigned special projects. All duties must be performed in accordance with client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. The role involves providing a safe and professional work environment for the client's employees and guests, escorting and patrolling on foot to secure the assigned post, responding quickly to incidents, and representing the company and client professionally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by state law, along with all client-requested certifications.
- Interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
- Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and professional work environment for the client's employees and guests.
- Provide escort and patrol on foot to secure the assigned post.
- Respond quickly to incidents.
- Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company, client, and self professionally.
- Perform assigned duties in accordance with client policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
- Carry out site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and special projects as assigned.
