Security Specialist - Full Time
About The Position
The Security Specialist ensures that Security Industry Specialists (SIS) standards and policies are met across field services, operations, and functions in the assigned area. Under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the specialist may perform site inspections, respond to emergencies, review cameras, liaise with clients, and complete assigned special projects. All duties must be performed in accordance with client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. The position is based in Hurst, Texas, and is full-time, with a stated pay rate of $19 per hour. Security Agency #C14164. Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by applicable state law, as well as client-requested certifications.
- Interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
- Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and professional work environment for the client's employees and guests.
- Provide escorts and conduct foot patrols to secure the assigned post.
- Respond quickly to incidents.
- Represent SIS, the client, and oneself professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
- Perform duties in accordance with client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison activities, and assigned special projects.
