Security Specialist - Full Time
About The Position
Security Specialists work under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor to ensure SIS standards and policies are met across field services, operations, and functions in their assigned area. Duties may include site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and special projects. All duties must be performed in accordance with client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. The role involves helping provide a safe and professional environment for the client’s employees and guests, escorting people, conducting foot patrols to secure the assigned post, responding quickly to incidents, and representing the company and client professionally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by applicable state law, as well as any certifications requested by the client.
- Interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
- Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and professional work environment for the client’s employees and guests.
- Provide escorts and conduct foot patrols to secure the assigned post.
- Respond quickly to incidents.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude while representing the company, the client, and oneself.
- Perform assigned duties such as site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and special projects in accordance with client policies and applicable regulations.
