About The Position

As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's assets, personnel, and property against physical threats through the implementation of security measures and protocols. This role provides global security program support to the Sr. Global Security Program Manager and the Americas Regional Security Manager. Under the direction of the Sr. Global Security Program Manager, you'll work on a hybrid office schedule from our Milwaukee, WI Global HQ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • The ability to travel 10% of the time.

  • Typically requires 5+ years experience within physical security.
  • PSP or other security certification
  • Expertise in physical security hardware, software, and system technology to include access control, video management, intrusion detection, and other associated physical security systems and technologies.
  • Experience learning, understanding and applying new technologies.
  • Analyze security risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Experience with physical security systems at a multi-site organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage physical security systems, including access control, video management, and intrusion detection.
  • Coordinating with integrators and stakeholders, system design, configurations, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
  • Develop solutions and enhancements to keep physical security systems technologies up to date with modern standards and practices, identify and mitigate recurrent security system issues, and provide overall physical security system metrics and health reporting.
  • Research and integrate new technologies and methodologies to advance physical security capabilities, modernization, and efficiency.
  • Participate in routine and ad-hoc cross-collaboration meetings with various teams, stakeholders, and vendors to manage projects, discuss and identify security program improvements, and assist with designing and implementing security program improvements.
  • Assist the Americas Regional Security Manager with physical security site assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements to fortify security posture.
  • Assist the Americas Regional Security Manager with crisis management tabletops, risk and threat assessments, and other support.
  • Be the end-user systems administrator for multiple platforms and tools in Global Security.
  • Provide training to staff on the proper use of security platforms, software, hardware, and procedures.
  • Lead security planning and oversight for company special events throughout the Americas.
  • Lead multiple security projects or initiatives as directed and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
