About The Position

As a Security Specialist for the U.S. Army, you will ensure that Department of War and U.S. Army regulations and procedures for safeguarding the facility and classified material and information are enforced. You will work with government partners to coordinate and manage physical security requirements and document specific security procedures. You will perform in a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of company and government sensitive and classified information. You will use your specific functional knowledge to develop or contribute to security solutions and participate in special projects and perform additional duties to support client requirements, as required. Requirements

Experience with Visitor Control Support
Experience with Intrusion Detection and Electronic Entry Systems
Ability to create, manage, and maintain a Guard Book and Security Standard Operating Procedures
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Completion of Level 1 Security Manager Training

Nice To Haves

Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS)
Experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
Experience with Information Assurance
Knowledge of Army Physical Security practices
Bachelor’s degree
