About The Position

Security Specialists work under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor to ensure SIS standards and policies are followed in field services, operations, and functions within their assigned area. Duties may include site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison work, and special projects. All duties must comply with client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.

The role is based in Palo Alto, California, and is full-time. The stated pay is $27.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by state law.
• Complete and maintain all certifications requested by the client.
• Interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
• Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and professional work environment for the client’s employees and guests.
• Provide escorts and conduct foot patrols to secure the assigned post.
• Respond quickly to incidents.
• Represent the company, client, and oneself professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
• Perform assigned duties such as site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison work, and special projects.
• Follow client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
