Security Specialist - (Fri-Mon Day Shift)
About The Position
Security Specialists work under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor to ensure Security Industry Specialists standards and policies are met across field services, operations, and functions in their assigned area. Duties may include site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and assigned special projects. All duties must be performed in accordance with client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. The role is located in Sunnyvale, California, and is a full-time position on a Friday–Monday day shift. Compensation is $25 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by applicable state law, along with all client-requested certifications.
- Interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
- Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and professional work environment for the client's employees and guests.
- Provide escorts and conduct foot patrols to secure the assigned post.
- Respond quickly to incidents.
- Represent the company, client, and oneself professionally, maintaining a positive attitude.
- Perform assigned site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison duties, and special projects.
- Follow client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
