About The Position

The Security Specialist helps maintain a safe and secure workplace by enforcing safety rules, protecting facilities, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and investigating incidents. The role includes overseeing the Security Operations Center and supporting security programs and process improvements.

This position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The employer describes competitive pay, professional growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be over 18.
• Legally authorized to work in the USA.
• Experience with de-escalation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to integrity.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce safety rules and regulations to minimize accidents and product damage.
• Inspect hazardous material areas to help prevent fires and injuries.
• Manage access to the main and employee entrances and to shipping and receiving areas to prevent unauthorized access and theft.
• Oversee the Security Operations Center, monitoring life safety systems, access control, surveillance, and related systems.
• Collaborate with external emergency personnel and internal teams during incidents.
• Investigate internal and external incidents.
• Implement Emergency Action Plans, Risk and Vulnerability Assessments, and other security programs.
• Conduct plant and trailer temperature checks, food defense inspections, and security patrols.
• Conduct Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and Urine Drug Testing (UDT).
• Assist in developing and improving security processes.
