About The Position

ProSync is seeking a passionate Security Specialist II to ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations. This role involves drawing on leading personnel and cybersecurity expertise to enhance, accelerate, and assure the United States Navy's ability to counter existing and emerging security threats. The position handles the support of the Sensitive Compartment Information Facility, requiring demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC). The role includes managing and implementing alarm and access control systems, overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel, and ensuring adherence to all security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Four (4) years of experience primarily in Information Security (INFOSEC) and other general areas of security in the DoD or IC.
Eight (8) years of professional technical activities related to security would be considered equivalent if education and experience qualifications are not met.
Four (4) of these eight (8) years should demonstrate experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
A minimum Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret w/ SCI is required.

Nice To Haves

Prior military service or government contracting experience.
Experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC).
Proficiency in managing and implementing alarm and access control systems.
Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel.

Responsibilities

Support of the Sensitive Compartment Information Facility.
Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC).
Proficiency in managing and implementing alarm and access control systems.
Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel, providing guidance and support in their professional development, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, and ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are adhered to with the utmost diligence.
Four (4) years of experience primarily in Information Security (INFOSEC) and other general areas of security in the DoD or IC.
If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, eight (8) years of professional technical activities related to security would be considered equivalent.
Four (4) of these eight (8) years should demonstrate experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
A minimum Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret w/ SCI is required to be considered for this position.
