About The Position

ProSync is seeking a passionate Security Specialist II to ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations. This role will leverage leading personnel and cybersecurity expertise to enhance, accelerate, and assure the United States Navy's ability to counter existing and emerging security threats. The position involves supporting the Sensitive Compartment Information Facility, requiring demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment, proficiency in managing alarm and access control systems, and experience overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
  • Experience with alarm and access control systems.
  • A minimum Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret w/ SCI is required to be considered for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

Nice To Haves

  • If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, eigh (8) years of professional technical activities related to security would be considered equivalent. Four (4) of these eight (8) years should demonstrate experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
