About The Position
Responsible for investigation of criminal offenses that occur on facility property. Enforce facility rules and regulations. Security officer means any persons whose primary duties are to protect persons or property. Security officers means non-commissioned. Security Officers are not authorized to exercise police officer powers.
Requirements
- High School completion / GED
- OPOTA- Required Basic Security Guard Training. Including the state required 20 hours of firearms Training
- Valid Ohio driver’s license required
- No prior job-related work experience
- This position requires an individual able to work under pressure with many interruptions while remaining calm and pleasant to the public and facility personnel.
