About The Position

Secureone Security Services is seeking an experienced Security Special Response Officer (SRO), also referred to as a Special Response Guard. The role requires security experience, strong customer-service skills, technical experience, and open availability. The officer helps keep division operations running by filling open shifts and schedules as directed or assigned by management. Full-time hours are guaranteed, with weekly pay and a daily pay program. The SRO may work at multiple sites and must be available on designated days and times to cover shifts. The position involves performing security officer duties as assigned, following site-specific procedures and manuals, and maintaining and inspecting the patrol vehicle. Candidates must be mature, reliable, responsible, professional, and fluent in spoken and written English.

Requirements

Be at least 25 years of age.
Have a minimum of 2–3 years of security experience.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Pass a background check and drug test.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record, with no moving violations in the past 3 years.
Have reliable transportation.
Have a valid Guard Card.
Have the legal right to work in the United States.
Maintain a working telephone.
Read, speak, and write English fluently.
Be able to stand, walk, drive, and enter and exit a vehicle for most of the shift.
Be able to work in extreme heat and cold.
Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, trustworthiness, sound judgment, a positive attitude, flexibility, and a neat, presentable appearance.

Responsibilities

Fill open shifts and schedules as directed or assigned by management.
Work weekends and holidays and remain on-call to cover additional shifts as required.
Work at multiple sites each week as scheduled by management.
Be on-call on designated days and times each week.
Maintain the cleanliness of the patrol vehicle and inspect it at the beginning and end of each shift.
Perform security officer duties as assigned or directed.
Follow standard operating procedures, the handbook, scope of work, post procedures, and other applicable manuals at each site.
Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
