About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual Response Security Officer in Austin, Texas. Duties vary by day and special event and may include customer service, patrols, and surveillance. The role requires adapting quickly to changing assignments while helping protect people and property. The schedule is not guaranteed, but there is a strong possibility of 32–40 hours per week. Applicants must be available for all shifts, including mornings, days, and overnights, and all days of the week. The hourly wage is $19.00. GardaWorld provides uniforms at no cost and covers the cost of continuing education through GardaWorld Campus. Career growth opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Demonstrate responsiveness and strong problem-solving skills.
• Be at least 21 years old, as required by applicable law or contractual requirement.
• Be available to work all shifts, including mornings, days, and overnights, and all days of the week.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Have or be able to obtain a Texas Security License.
• Have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to ensure security.
