This role will contribute to the design and delivery of AI security and MLSecOps programs, embedding security across the AI lifecycle from development through deployment and monitoring. It involves analyzing and mitigating AI-specific threats including prompt injection, model supply chain risks, adversarial attacks, and data leakage. The consultant will execute AI threat modeling, risk assessments, and control design, translating technical risks into actionable recommendations, and implement and optimize security controls across AI ecosystems, including data pipelines, APIs, model artifacts, and vector databases. The position also supports the integration of AI security into enterprise cybersecurity programs aligned with frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO, and CIS.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with exposure to cloud security, application security, or AI/ML systems
• Experience conducting risk assessments, threat modeling, or security architecture reviews
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and common security risks in AI systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, containers)
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or CIS
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently and manage components of client engagements

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of AI security and MLSecOps programs, embedding security across the AI lifecycle from development through deployment and monitoring.
• Analyze and mitigate AI-specific threats including prompt injection, model supply chain risks, adversarial attacks, and data leakage.
• Execute AI threat modeling, risk assessments, and control design, translating technical risks into actionable recommendations.
• Implement and optimize security controls across AI ecosystems, including data pipelines, APIs, model artifacts, and vector databases.
• Support integration of AI security into enterprise cybersecurity programs aligned with frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO, and CIS.
• Execute AI security engagements, including assessments, architecture reviews, and control implementations.
• Contribute to development of client deliverables, including risk assessments, security architectures, and remediation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to support secure AI adoption and compliance.
• Implement AI security controls within MLOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct threat modeling and security assessments for AI systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform adversarial testing, vulnerability analysis, and validation of AI models and systems.
• Support secure deployment of AI systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Translate technical findings into business-relevant insights and recommendations.
• Assist in aligning AI security initiatives with enterprise risk management and governance structures.
• Contribute to the development of reusable methodologies, templates, and frameworks.
• Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and risk professionals.
• Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior analysts.
• Support knowledge sharing and capability development within the team.
• Contribute to proposals, solution design, and business development efforts.
• Stay current on emerging AI security risks, technologies, and regulatory developments.
• Support development of thought leadership materials and internal assets.
