About The Position

The Security Solutions Architect is responsible for supporting the growth and managing of the business relationships with Hotwire's Government and Education and accounts. This includes local government agencies, K-12 and Higher Education institutions and Medium-Large Health Care Organizations. Duties / Responsibilities: Provide engineering and design support for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and other commercial security systems. Assist sales staff with estimates and product selection to meet customers’ needs Provide basic systems design and technical support to technicians and customers Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to support project delivery Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and RFPs to create detailed estimates. Ensure accurate and timely entry of all technical data in Salesforce and all other project management tools (HLD, BOM, etc.) Assist with Proposals preparation and weekly internal meetings. Partner with Sales Engineering to scope network design and acquire all necessary documentation Build and maintain strong customer relationships Travel required regularly throughout Florida with occasional out of state travel Other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor’s degree in: Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field or relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of sales experience in the Telecommunications industry, with in-depth knowledge and skills in the art of complex sales, is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IP based products and services such as Metro Ethernet, VoIP, DIA, and fiber optics
• Results-oriented ability to deliver results and strive to consistently achieve excellence in all tasks and goals.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, demonstrated skill in requirements gathering, resource organization, and schedule development
