About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Site Supervisor for a concierge security post in Norfolk, Virginia. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while working with people in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The supervisor helps protect people and property by managing access, patrolling and inspecting the site, responding to incidents, and communicating security concerns. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, on the first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with an hourly wage of $21.00. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have an active DCJS License.
• Have at least one year of security supervisory experience.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
