About The Position

The Security Shuttle Driver (also described as Passenger Van Shuttle Driver) provides safe, reliable, and professional transportation for employees, visitors, and guests between designated locations. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and compliance with traffic laws and company policies. Site-specific training and support are provided.

The driver operates a passenger van, follows established routes and schedules, inspects the vehicle before and after trips, assists passengers as needed, maintains logs and reports, and promptly communicates maintenance concerns, incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to supervisors. Other transportation-related responsibilities may be assigned.

The position involves extended periods of driving and sitting, frequent entry into and exit from the vehicle, and exposure to varying weather and traffic conditions. The driver may need to assist passengers and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. Weekends, holidays, overtime, or flexible schedules may be required based on operational needs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least one year of consistent driving experience.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Reliable communication and transportation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including drug testing, a background check, and a motor vehicle record review.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required.
• Previous shuttle, passenger transportation, delivery, commercial driving, or professional driving experience.
• Knowledge of defensive driving practices and vehicle safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a passenger van shuttle to transport employees, visitors, and guests between designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Provide courteous, professional, and helpful service to passengers.
• Follow established routes and schedules while maintaining safe driving practices.
• Comply with federal, state, and local traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and loading or unloading personal items as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate operational issues to supervisors.
• Promptly and accurately report accidents, incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Perform other transportation-related responsibilities as assigned.
