About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. They supervise staff on their assigned shift and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within their approved empowerment range. The position pays $18 per hour, paid weekly, and requires at least six months of security experience. The posted schedule is Friday and Saturday overnight.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• At least six months of security experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs neatly and legibly.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated company criteria, required minimum insurance, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver’s record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
