About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Shift Supervisor / Control Center Operator for a medical school location on a university campus in University City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role supervises and coordinates the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift while also supporting operations as the Control Center Operator. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. They supervise staff on the assigned shift and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

The position pays $22.67 per hour and is scheduled for Saturday from 8 PM to 8 AM and Sunday from 8 PM to 7 AM.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• For driving positions: a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience; a clean driving record under the stated company criteria; the minimum insurance required by company policy; and the ability to operate a vehicle safely. A driver's record check may be required.

Responsibilities
