About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The position pays $24.00 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a current California Guard Card with training certificates.
• Must have a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record, with more than one year of driving experience.
• Must have at least two years of security experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Must have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Must be able to prepare neat, legible written reports and logs, and read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Must have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Must be able to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Driving positions require the ability to safely operate a vehicle and insurance at the minimum level required by company policy. Driving-record criteria include no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
