About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring an experienced, unarmed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment guidelines. The position is listed at $19.00 per hour and as full-time.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs frequently, using neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driving-record check may also be required.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience; a clean driving record under the stated company criteria; required insurance coverage; and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
