About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The stated pay rate is $25.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• At least one year of security experience, or prior law enforcement or military experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience/history.
• For driving positions, a clean driving record: no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• For driving positions, the minimum level of insurance required by company policy and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
