About The Position

You will assist the Surveillance and Security Manager in the management of the Security department and personnel, in compliance with the Provincial Gaming Commission, and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations. You will maintain good public relations with patrons and employees, comply with safety and security standards of the corporation while orientating staff to operations and complying with pre-determined internal control procedures. The Security Shift Manager is responsible for the administration and day-to-day management of security supervisors and staff and operation of the department

Requirements

First Aid and CPR certification.
Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and managerial skills.

Nice To Haves

BST and Gaming Security Officer Certificates preferred

Responsibilities

Protect the assets of the corporation by monitoring all operations and gaming activities throughout the facility.
Oversee investigations of major occurrences.
Respond to escalated patron complaints and major occurrences, strictly adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental or Internal Control Manual.
Ensure files and records are accounted for in accordance to Security Department policies.
Monitor training strategies for supervisors and staff, ensure technical training is completed
Assist the Security Surveillance Manager with the administration of the departmental budget by monitoring use of overtime, tracking of scheduled hours, managing operating expenses, etc.
