The Security Shift Manager is responsible for the supervision of shift security personnel, including Security Operations Center Operators. This role involves directing subordinates, completing disciplinary reports, and recommending discipline as necessary. The Shift Manager is also responsible for scheduling employees, reviewing timecards, completing performance evaluations, and absence reports. Additionally, they will have specific training responsibilities as assigned by the Security Director and will interact with and assist Casino supervisors and personnel as needed. The position requires the ability to exercise sound judgment, make logical decisions, and provide leadership in situations requiring tact and discretion, with errors having a significant impact on the property. Proficiency in radio, telephone, verbal, and written communication is essential, as is the ability to interact effectively with the public, and FM Enterprise employees and management. The role requires the flexibility to work any shift and hours as assigned, and may involve prolonged periods of standing or walking and lifting weights in excess of 40 pounds.
