About The Position
Patrol Solutions is seeking an experienced Unarmed Security Sergeant to lead the evening shift of security officers in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. The role involves patrolling the district on foot or by bicycle, checking on posts, supporting officers, responding to incidents, and coordinating with emergency services. The Sergeant will also review officer reports, write their own reports, and serve as the main contact for clients and stakeholders during their shift.
Requirements
- 18 or older
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card
- At least 1 year of security experience in a business improvement district or downtown setting
- At least 1 year as a security lead or supervisor
- Baton permit, pepper spray certification and CPR/First Aid
- Able to read and write clear reports in English
- Able to use a smartphone for daily activity reports
Nice To Haves
- Bike patrol experience preferred
