About The Position

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants, is currently seeking a part-time Security Representative. This position will generally work 6pm-midnight, Monday through Friday, but other shifts may be available on occasion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to handle visitors in a polite and professional manner.
• Driving duties require proper license and satisfactory driving records.
• Basic knowledge of computers and good oral and written communication skills are required.
• Must have working phone or other method of immediate contact.

Nice To Haves

• additional training in security related fields desired

Responsibilities

• Greets, records, instructs, and assists visitors.
• Observes facility and make reports of unusual appearances, sounds, or scents.
• Monitors weather conditions, alarm systems, security cameras; coordinate employee actions during emergency situations (evacuation, emergency transport, plant shutdown).
• Makes detailed written and oral reports of events.
