About The Position

Responsible for setting up receiving export windows and cutoffs for assigned US Port Calls prior to vessel arrival. Ensures a fluid and efficient receiving of cargo at the terminal, avoiding opening the export windows too early or too late. Uses MSC USA proprietary IT system to retrieve, record and analyze information. Escalates unique or complex issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary. Provides feedback regarding current corporate practices and metrics in order to support process efficiencies. Presence required on-site 5 days per week. Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience analyzing data and trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel, PowerBI and other reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain environment (ocean maritime industry preferred).
  • Ability to stay updated on market changes & industry news.
