Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Must be 21 years of age for armed roles.
A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns, reporting observations according to established procedures.
Support access control measures by verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during critical situations or emergencies.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
