As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with staff and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Monitor and report on any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required in response to incidents.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly after incidents or patrols.
Remain alert to security-related risks and respond appropriately to changing conditions or emergencies.
