As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed post requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our core values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
Interact with staff and visitors in a professional manner while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
Operate as an armed security professional in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.
Document incidents and security-related activities clearly and accurately in required reports.
Assist local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies on location.
