Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and/or unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as necessary during incidents.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
