Security Patrol Driver Parking Lot Area Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a Security Patrol Driver for parking lot area patrol in Levittown, New York. The position is designed for part-time work with a fixed weekly schedule at an assigned site and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated shifts require a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may be available across multiple sites, with the opportunity to build up to a schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back when desired. Pay is $19.48 per hour. The role provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies when appropriate, and conducting regular and random unarmed patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business and perimeter.
