About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver for a telecommunications and media location in Middletown, New York. The role involves unarmed vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points and alarm activity, and providing customer service. The driving post requires a valid Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement. The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 7:30 PM to 2:45 AM and pays $20.69 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain accurate incident and patrol documentation.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a positive, orderly environment.
