About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Outdoor Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and/or notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support loss prevention efforts, and/or assist visitors, tenants, and staff as needed.
• Support security-related operations during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or deliveries by maintaining a visible presence and reporting observed issues to site leadership.
