Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site expectations.
• Support a welcoming shopping environment by offering directions, answering general questions, and assisting with security-related customer concerns in a professional manner.
