Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and assigned security-related protocols throughout a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support an orderly environment, assist with crowd-related concerns, and/or address issues involving loitering, trespassing, or policy violations.
• Document incidents, customer interactions, and daily activity, and communicate notable conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
