The Security Operations Supervisor coordinates and supervises the daily operations of contracted security personnel at South Louisiana Community College locations. This role acts as the field supervisor for the Office of Campus Security at the Lafayette Campus, responding to various incidents including safety concerns, criminal activity, accidents, and emergencies, and preparing detailed reports. Responsibilities include coordinating security personnel scheduling, conducting onboarding and operational training, and performing payroll administration for contracted staff. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the College and the security services provider, monitors compliance with access control and security policies, and conducts routine inspections and audits. The role also supports the College's parking program and event parking management. The supervisor must be capable of performing all essential duties and responding to emergencies 24/7, and may occasionally be required to work at other SoLAcc campuses.
