Requirements

  • Security experience of at least 1 year is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access coordination, and emergency communication activities at a busy industrial location.
  • Monitor radio, telephone, and/or electronic communications to dispatch personnel, route calls for service, and relay real-time updates during routine operations and critical situations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, first responders, and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance and/or access issues.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, and help support site-specific policies, traffic flow, and visitor management procedures throughout the location.
