As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in BURLINGTON, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least two years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, receiving areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and potential loss-prevention issues, and report observations according to location-specific procedures.
Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing visible presence, directing visitors, and documenting incidents and daily activities.
