As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Care Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, contractors, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of active work areas, access points, parking areas, material storage locations, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors and deliveries, maintaining visitor records, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and policy violations in required reports and promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
