As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Phillipsburg, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and access control processes. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and use computer or tablet tools to document activity. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document security-related observations and incidents.
Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other unwanted activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.
