As a Security Officer Full-Time Screening in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Screener at a premier retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by monitoring access points, screening visitors and deliveries, and communicating clearly with guests and team members. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a positive customer experience. Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements and access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Document screening activity, incidents, and irregular conditions through clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
