About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Inspector in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals and belongings using assigned screening equipment and procedures, identifying prohibited items and escalating concerns in accordance with established protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry, maintaining accurate visitor and access-related records as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and emergency response resources.
• Maintain awareness of activity at assigned screening points and surrounding areas, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
