About The Position

This is a floater position responsible for the physical security of the facility. The role involves assignments to walking or stationary posts, depending on the location. Key duties include inspecting and controlling persons and vehicles entering or leaving the facility, logging truck traffic, writing reports, performing preliminary investigations, and operating switchboard, two-way radio, and intercom equipment. Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate under stressful situations.
Able to work in both hot and cold temperatures.
Able to work both independently and under supervision.
Positive work ethic and attitude.
Must pass a REQUIRED background check.

Cannot have 6 attendance points or more (internal requirement).
Cannot have suspension in the last 12 months (internal requirement).

Responsibilities

Provide physical security for the facility.
Perform walking or stationary post duties.
Inspect and control persons and vehicles entering or leaving the facility.
Log truck traffic during ingress and egress.
Write reports and perform preliminary investigations of accidents, thefts, workplace violence, and other incidents.
Operate switchboard, two-way radio, and intercom equipment.
Check identification of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and Team Members.
Allow only authorized personnel into the facility.
Check all carry-in items including bags, briefcases, toolboxes, and lunchboxes.
Walk through the plant to check physical facility security.
Inspect all motor vehicles driven into the plant.
