About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Vero Beach, Florida, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming, controlled environment. In the access control role, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, document visitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service. The position is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and document visitor activity.
Respond to security-related concerns.
