About The Position

The Security Officer (Unarmed) maintains a safe and secure environment by providing protective services, customer assistance, and incident response in support of site operations and client needs. The role helps maintain security and safety throughout the organization and serves as a visible deterrent to illegal activities. Security Officers provide direct security and related public services while supporting the client’s and community’s values and culture. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Work hours vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and company needs. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may include any day of the week. Work settings may be fast-paced and stressful or quiet and slow-paced; all require alertness and the ability to perform under pressure.

Requirements

• Completed high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities, including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift and move or lift objects up to 80 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable to driving roles.
• Previous employment must be verifiable for applicable roles; candidates may be required to provide proof of employment if it cannot be confirmed.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time during an assigned shift; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; and occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
• Ability to remain alert and perform under pressure in varied work environments.
• Ability to engage frequently in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
